I Hear You're A Racist Now, Mordian

Important Context: Every day on the MG Channel we put out a meme as part of a Community Post, we have been doing this for nearly 4 years. The majority of these memes come from the MG discord and its a way of us interacting with the community. On Monday the meme that went out had political connotations to do with immigration. It was a 40K parody of said topic, but they were present none the less. This was an honest mistake that occurred because the meme was not checked properly and simply uploaded by the MG team member who also didn't understand the real world context of the meme.

Obviously this caused a bit of stir in some Warhammer communities who began throwing around the usual labels of racism and fascism at myself and the channel. I have seen it all before from these communities and honestly it just doesn't bother me because is just so patently false. Anyone who actually watches the channel knows that I'm neither of these things, and in fact I take great pains to avoid any politics and the like on the channel.

Personally, I detest politics in general, but especially real world politics in Wargaming (satire of course being an exception). One of the things I am most proud of is that we actually have a broad spectrum of people in the MG community, but we all leave our politics & beliefs at the door and just enjoy the wargaming and the hobbying.  I have had to ban a few people over the years, both from the left and from the right, from the MG Community who have not been able to respect this rule 

Back on topic, the meme in question was deleted from the channel and discord. No, this isn't bowing down to the "Woke mob" as some people have said. It is correcting the original mistake. It should not have been on the channel in the first place as it went against my No Politics Rule. Simple As.

Secondly, I have deleted the apology from the team member (this was made before I was aware of the situation). At the end of the day, the buck stops with me. I am responsible for what goes out on the channel and I won't have one of my guys take the flak. If you want to lambast me, then lambast me, not my team. That's why I am making this statement, its my responsibility and any heat should be on me, not the team.
